Dear Partners and Supporters,

It is with mixed emotions that we share some important news with you about The Gray Samaritan (TGS) and its future. Due to unforeseen medical circumstances impacting our founders, Tim and Lynne Cox, the TGS Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cease operations and dissolve the organization. We understand this news is unexpected. We assure you we are committed to closing TGS responsibly and honoring the trust you have placed in the organization.

Here are the details:

• TGS will discontinue its day-to-day operations immediately and take steps to legally dissolve the organization. This decision was not taken lightly, but it is necessary given our circumstances.
• Your donations will be used as you have intended. We remain steadfast in our commitment to the mission of counter human trafficking. The funds that you have donated will be used to combat human trafficking through like-minded counter human trafficking organizations.
• The effort will continue in Uganda. Recognizing the importance of the work TGS started there, we have partnered with a dedicated, established organization already operating in the region. The contributions you have made to TGS will help ensure that work continues without interruption.

We are deeply grateful for your generosity and dedication to the fight against human trafficking. The impact you have made through TGS is immeasurable, and it will continue to resonate long after our closure. Your gifts have helped rescue victims, empower survivors, and disrupt trafficking networks. You have quite literally changed lives.

While TGS is closing its doors, the fight continues. We encourage you to stay informed and engaged with other organizations working in this vital area. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your invaluable support. We covet your prayers over the next few months as we complete the dissolution process.

Ronald R. Sill
President, Board of Directors
